May is one of our favorite times of the year at GEC as we get to celebrate with our students along with their family and friends at graduation parties, and all over social media. There’s so much to celebrate: the warm weather, and smiles, the anticipation for the summer and of great things to come all mixed together with a deep pride for the student and family on so much hard work.
This year’s class of GEC seniors was truly remarkable, complete with leaders, thinkers, artists, and athletes who will make their colleges better places for having them there. The 2022 graduating GEC class:
Will be enrolling in 18 different colleges and universities
More than half of GEC class of 2022 seniors will be enrolling in their colleges’ honors programs 1
86% of this year’s GEC senior class will be enrolling at their top choice college
Features a University of Virginia Jefferson Scholar, a star Vanderbilt football player, a rising star in jazz piano at Southern Cal, and a professional actor of Netflix and Disney fame who will be taking her talents to NYU
